Music Video Update

Based on some early audience feedback we have decided to change our original idea for the narrative of our Music Video.

The original narrative we had in place was seriously disliked by a considerable amount of our target audience after we asked them to comment on our current progress.

Instead we will now create a narrative around the idea of a "behind the scenes" story or journey as seen in a number of Rock music videos, most notably Bon Jovi Livin' On A Prayer, Def Leppard Pour Some Sugar On Me and Guns N' Roses Paradise City. This shouldn't be too much of a problem as we have a large amount of stock footage from MTV that we feel will easily work within our new narrative.

As a group we believe that by making this decision we will be able to create a video that will appeal to our audience far greater than our original idea and gain much more positive feedback.

Editing Day

Today was our designated editing day meaning we had the whole day off timetable in order to edit our video. This gave a really good chance of cracking on with our video in the hope that we could at least have a rough cut finished by the end of the day. We indeed managed to get a a rough cut finished and feel that the editing day was hugely beneficial, however, we are not convinced as a group that our video is finished and believe we still need to keep working on it to ensure it's as good as it can be as well as professional looking product.

Digipack and Advert Update

We are in the process of creating our Digipack and Advert, we are using our research as inspiration and justification behind our design choices. We have chosen or created images that we have either taken or designed from scratch that we feel truly compliment Rock Digipack and Advert conventions as well as applying our own original thoughts and ideas. We will post our progress accordingly.

Group Name

We have chosen a group name, we have decided to call ourselves Lithium Studios. We decided on this name as a result of a few simple things such as the fact that Lithium is sometimes used as antidepressant and we thought this linked well to the genre of Rock and how people often listen to music and especially Rock as an act of escapism and the fact that Lithium is also well known song by Nirvana a well known Rock band.
