Equipment Used

Here is an updated post about the sort of the equipment we used at MTV and to to edit our Music Video as well as other equipment we have also used;

At MTV we used professional HD cameras to capture our footage. These cameras were really useful as it meant we could zoom in and out as well as move round recording the type of shots and footage we needed. The cameras we also on adjustable dollys we meant we could move them up and down and manoeuvre them so they were in the right positions to capture the shots we needed.
We used a Vision Mixer at MTV when shooting the video, this enabled us to line up to shots and almost cut together the video as we were filming.

 We used an iMac to edit our Music Video, Digipack and Advert as it had exclusive applications such as Photoshop and Final Cut Express.

We used a Wester Digital 500GB HDD to store of footage on and bring back from MTV.

We also used an HP Printer with a built in scanner to scan a variety of images onto a memory stick so we could post them onto the blog such as the storyboard.

We also used a selection of lights that we set up at MTV to help light our video and help set the tone and mood of the video as well having a PA system set up in the studio so that the band could play along to Secret Sin when we were recording the video.
