Software Used

I used to Blogger as the central hub for all my findings and to log my research and planning, as well as progress through the creation of our Digipack, Advert and Music Video and will be where I post my evaluation.





I used YouTube to research various music videos during the research and planning stages and for inspiration during the design of our video. Not only this but is also where we will upload our final piece of work.

Prezi is an online application I used to create a variety of Presentations as a more exciting way of jotting down notes or creating a post.






 I also used SlideRocket to create a variety of presentations.

Gickr is an online photo application I used to merge a variety of photo's into one simple image to make my posts more presentable and so I didn't just fill my posts with lots of images.

Soundcloud was where I first listened to Secret Sin and was a place where I could listen to a variety of Raided By Waves tracks as part of research and planning.

We used Photoshop to edit our Digipack and Advert. This was an extremely useful piece of Software as it enabled us to add different effects to our photo's and manipulate them to how we felt they would best represent our artist and work within the conventions of Rock Digipacks and Adverts.

We used Final Cut Express to edit our video as we felt this application would enable to create a video that was professional and authentic with the footage we had and the type of video we were looking to produce.

We used Survey Monkey to gain audience feedback. This was extremely helpful as it meant we could create simple surveys in order to find out who our target audience were and what they expected from us.
